Island Lake Conservation Area (ILCA) is a valued natural heritage and recreational resource within the Credit River watershed. The reservoir, created in 1967, controls water flow into the Credit River while protecting the headwaters region.This park features four seasons of recreation through its 820 acres of lake, wetland, forest and meadows. Trailways include the Vicki Baron Lakeside Trail, Sugar Bush Trail and Memorial Forest Trail.
Terra Cotta Conservation Area offers plenty for nature enthusiasts, families or large groups looking for something different. Once a private facility with campsites and swimming pool, it is now restored to its natural state where people can enjoy its beauty year round.
