Island Lake Conservation Area (ILCA) is a valued natural heritage and recreational resource within the Credit River watershed. The reservoir, created in 1967, controls water flow into the Credit River while protecting the headwaters region.This park features four seasons of recreation through its 820 acres of lake, wetland, forest and meadows. Trailways include the Vicki Baron Lakeside Trail, Sugar Bush Trail and Memorial Forest Trail.
Ken Whillans Resource Management Area (KWRMA) features 217 acres of warm-water fish habitats and wetland communities including swamps and marshes. This is a fun area for beginners or experienced fisherman to enjoy over three seasons.
